Side windows block only 40% of UV. Children are especially vulnerable to sun damage.
Overheating Risk
Children overheat faster than adults. Even brief exposure to hot interiors is dangerous.

Common Questions
Child Safety FAQ
How much cooler will my car be with ceramic tint?
Ceramic tint typically reduces interior temperatures by 15-25°F compared to untinted cars. More importantly, surfaces like car seats and buckles stay much cooler because the infrared (heat) radiation is blocked before it enters the vehicle.
Is window tint safe for my child to look through?
Absolutely. Window tint doesn't affect visibility for passengers inside—they can see out clearly. The tint only reduces incoming light and heat. Children can still look out windows, read, and see their surroundings normally.
Which windows should I tint for child safety?
At minimum, tint the rear side windows where car seats are located. For best results, tint all side windows and the rear window. We can also apply clear ceramic film to the windshield to block heat without darkening it.
How does UV protection help children?
Children's skin is thinner and more sensitive to UV damage. Regular car windows block UVB but allow UVA to pass through. Window film blocks 99% of all UV rays, protecting against sunburn, skin damage, and long-term skin cancer risk—especially important for frequent car trips.
